Background
The CMI Integration Bee is an annual tournament held at the Chennai Mathematical Institute during Tessellate.
The event is open to all CMI students, from first-year undergraduates to PhD scholars as well as to post-docs and professors.
In 2026, it was open to external participants.
📘 Competition Format (as of 2026)
- 01. Qualification Round: A 30-minute written exam featuring 8-10 integrals.
- 02. The Top 16: The highest scorers from the qualifier advance to the live tournament stage.
- 03. Tournament Stage: An elimination bracket where participants face off at the chalkboard.
- 04. Prizes: All Qualifiers receive prizes donated by esteemed CMI faculty members along with prizes from the Tessellate budget.
